Job summary

DN Colleges Group seeks an experienced lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver assessed teaching across taught programmes and act as a Programme Tutor for a caseload of students. The role includes tracking progress and attendance, with support offered for a teaching qualification to those who lack one, in a UK-working context with DBS and right-to-work checks.

• Excellent subject knowledge of Electrical Installation programmes and industry practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes.
• Act as Programme Tutor, giving academic and pastoral support to a designated student caseload.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, keeping accurate records and assessment information.
• Develop innovative, engaging learning using a range of teaching methods and learning technologies.
• Embed English and Maths within vocational learning.
• Build and maintain links with industry partners to support curriculum delivery and progression.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and student recruitment events, including Open Days and information sessions.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment that supports achievement and wellbeing.
