Job summary

Leeds City College is seeking an experienced Electrician to teach Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation. The role offers full funding to achieve a Level 5 Teaching Qualification on the job and ongoing support from an experienced team at the Printworks Campus.

You will deliver practical workshops and theory sessions, track learner progress, and create up-to-date learning materials that reflect industry standards and sustainable tech trends.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., 2360, 2330, 2357, or 5357).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or commitment to achieve shortly after starting).
• Strong practical industry experience and a passion for sharing trade knowledge with others.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical workshops and theory sessions for Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation students and apprentices.
• Support learners to achieve their qualifications, track progress, and help them transition to industry or higher training.
• Create modern, practical learning materials reflecting real-world industry standards and emerging sustainable technologies.
• Work with a supportive team at Printworks Campus and benefit from funded training to develop teaching expertise.
