Job summary

Leeds City College is seeking an Electric Installation Teacher to deliver hands-on workshops and theory for Level 2/3 students at the Printworks Campus in Leeds. The role includes mentoring learners and developing modern teaching materials while supported by a funded teaching qualification.

The position offers a 37-hour week, competitive pay, and funded qualifications with full on‑the‑job training. A strong industry background and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or commitment to achieve shortly after starting).
• Strong practical industry experience and a passion for sharing your trade knowledge with others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and support learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical workshops and theory sessions for Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation students and apprentices.
• Support learners to achieve their qualifications, track their progress, and help them take their next steps into industry or higher-level training.
• Create modern, practical learning materials that reflect real-world industry standards and emerging sustainable technologies.
• Work alongside an experienced team at our Printworks Campus while receiving full support, mentoring, and funded training to develop your teaching expertise.
