City & Guilds Training is expanding, and we are looking for Experienced Electrical Installation Tutors OR Experienced Electricians who would love to become tutors and join our friendly team.

Locations: Currently, we are recruiting for London Central, Gatwick (Crawley), Leeds, Coventry, and Warrington.

• Salary: £38,855-£42,000 and £44,000 if appointed IQA for Coventry, Leeds, Doncaster, and Warrington
• Salary: £38,855-£46,000 and £48,000 if appointed IQA for London locations
• Salaries are negotiable and depend on location, skills, and experience.

About the role:

As an Electrical Installations Tutor, your role involves delivering practical and theoretical electrical training aligned with company and awarding organization guidelines.

You will handle courses such as C&G 2365 Level 2 & 3, C&G 2382, C&G 2391, C&G 2377, C&G 2921, BPEC Solar PV, and Battery Storage, possibly developing training materials to meet specific needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality electrical installation courses
• Assessing courses according to guidelines and maintaining records
• Reviewing student performance and implementing procedures
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity policies
• Collaborating within the team and with external partners

About You:

What you’ll need:

• Recent, relevant industry experience in electrical installation (domestic, commercial, industrial)
• Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification or equivalent OR experienced Electrician ready to teach
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Solid knowledge of Electrical and Science principles
• Practical capabilities in Electrical Installations

Desirable but not essential:

• Level 3 Assessing qualification or equivalent
• Level 4 Internal Quality Audit certificate or equivalent
• Green credentials (Solar PV, EV, EESS)

We seek effective communicators, team players, self-motivated individuals capable of managing projects independently, with problem-solving skills and a patient, controlled demeanour. A full UK Driving License is essential.
