Rise Technical Recruitment is assisting a leading college in Blackpool to hire an Electrical Installation Trainer. The role involves delivering Level 2/3 and T Level Electrical Installation with practical workshops and theory, in cohorts of about 24 learners.

It offers full teacher training, a 37‑hour week, and a clear path to leadership roles within the department. The ideal candidate has an Electrical background, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition, and Testing & Inspection/2391.

Qualifications

• Electrical installation background required.
• 18th Edition for electrical teaching.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical is essential.
• Testing & Inspection / 2391 qualification preferred.
• Gold Card or strong Electrical Installation experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation across Level 2, Level 3, and T Level provision.
• Teach practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory.
• Manage class sizes around 24 learners.
• Approximately 24 hours of timetabled teaching per week.
• Full-time permanent position, 37 hours per week.
• Base at the Bispham campus.
• Support learners with technical knowledge, practical skills and progression.
• Full teacher training and development provided.
• Clear progression opportunities into Programme Leader and Curriculum Leader.
