Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Installation Trainer in Workington. You will move from the tools to education, delivering practical workshops and classroom learning to apprentices and full-time learners.

You will gain full teacher training and a recognised teaching qualification, with a Monday-to-Friday, 37-hour week, excellent holiday entitlement, and a strong pension scheme. NVQ Level 3 and industry experience are essential, with AM2, 18th Edition, and 2391 desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• AM2 qualification desirable.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations desirable.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation practical and theory sessions to apprentices and full-time learners.
• Teach Electrical Installation principles, safe working practices, fault finding and inspection & testing.
• Support, mentor and develop the next generation of electricians.
• Full teacher training and recognised teaching qualification provided.
• Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
