Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is looking for an Electrical Installation Lecturer in Scunthorpe to teach across Levels 1–3, delivering both practical workshops and theory.

You will work mainly with 16–18 learners and some adults, with ~23 hours of teaching per week, and gain access to full teacher training and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification is required.
• Experience within the Electrical Installation industry.
• Ideally experience across domestic and commercial installation.
• 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing (2391) desirable.
• Teaching, assessor, or IQA qualifications desirable but not essential.
• Confident delivering technical knowledge in front of learners.

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you'll deliver Electrical Installation across Levels 1, 2, and 3, teaching both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory. You'll work mainly with 16-18 learners, alongside some adult learners, supporting students as they develop the technical skills, confidence, and knowledge required to succeed within the electrical industry.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Electrical Installation professional with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to deliver in front of a class. You must hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification and ideally have experience across both domestic and commercial installation. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential, as full support is available through the Trade to Teach route, internal teacher training, and ongoing CPD.
