Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Installation Trainer/Assessor based in Leicester to deliver electrical installation training to apprentices and industry learners. You will support both practical workshops and classroom sessions, assess progress, and guide learners through their qualifications.

The role offers exposure to Solar PV, EV charging, Battery Storage and Inspection & Testing, with a Monday–Friday schedule to support work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• Teaching qualification such as AET/PTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE is required.
• Assessor qualification or willingness to work towards is expected.

The Role

• Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners

• Undertake training in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing
• Monday to Friday position based in Leicester

The Person

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent)
• Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards if required)
• Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
• Experience delivering Electrical Installation training
• Interest in renewable technologies and ongoing professional development
