Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Electrician to move into training and assessment. You will deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners, supporting workshops and classroom sessions while guiding learners through qualifications.

Full teaching and assessor training will be provided, with progression into Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
• Experience as an Electrician, Approved Electrician or Electrical Supervisor
• Interest in renewable technologies and ongoing professional development
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Looking to move into training and education
• No previous teaching experience required

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation training to apprentices and industry learners
• Support both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based learning
• Assess learner progress and provide guidance and support
• Deliver apprenticeship programmes alongside specialist commercial training courses

This role would suit an experienced Electrician who enjoys mentoring others and wants to build a long-term career in education. Teaching experience is not required, as full teacher training, assessor qualifications and training in emerging technologies will be provided.
