Job summary
South Eastern Regional College invites applications for a Technician in Electrical Installation at Downpatrick Campus. This full-time, permanent role offers 36 hours per week and a starting salary of £28,598 per annum.
You will support lecturers and students within the Electrical Installation curriculum to ensure delivery of high-quality learning experiences. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 (or higher) apprenticeship in Electrical Installation, at least two years’ industry
Qualifications
- Level 3 or higher apprenticeship in Electrical Installation with certified documentation.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Electrical Installation industry.
- Demonstrate knowledge of health and safety within a construction environment.
- Demonstrate effective organisational skills.
- Demonstrate interpersonal and communications skills, both written and oral.
- Competence in the use of Microsoft Office package.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to lecturers/courses in the relevant curriculum area.
- Assist lecturers and students to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Support the delivery of practical electrical installation sessions and equipment maintenance.
