Job summary

Trafford College is seeking a Lecturer-Electrical Installation to deliver Level 1–3 training to apprentices and full-time students at the Stretford Campus. This role is 35 hours per week with a salary scale of £35,019–£49,767, and includes a generous pension and staff benefits.

You will develop curriculum, implement teaching and learning strategies, and assess learners to support their success in electrotechnical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Have the relevant Occupational Qualifications at a minimum of Level 3.
• Have previously taught up to level 3 standard.
• Possess a level 5 certificate in teaching or be willing to work towards this qualification.
• Possess a level 3 in Assessing or be willing to work towards this qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, student-focused education for Level 1–3 students and apprentices.
• Develop the curriculum and implement teaching and learning strategies that enable students to succeed.
• Support learners through assessment and progression to higher qualifications.
