Job summary

Tyne Coast College is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to join our Construction team in South Tyneside. You will deliver programmes up to Level 3, plan engaging lessons, assess learner progress and provide pastoral support to help students achieve their potential.

The role demands industry experience, a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or higher, and a teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge and practical skills in Electrical Installation.
• Industry experience in the electrical sector is essential.
• Experience teaching, training or assessing learners.
• Knowledge of City & Guilds qualifications up to Level 3.
• Strong communication, organisational and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation programmes up to Level 3.
• Plan and prepare engaging learning activities and resources.
• Assess learner progress and provide feedback.
• Support students through tutorials and pastoral duties.
