Job summary

Burnley College is seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation to deliver a range of programs within the Division of Construction and to drive high-quality teaching and student achievement.

You will teach up to 832 hours per year and work with Curriculum Managers and the Program Leader to improve quality and outcomes, including work-based learning where relevant. Salary up to £45,453, with development opportunities at the college.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Electrical Installation or related subject.
• Ideally possess a PGCE or Certificate in Education.
• Knowledge of Work Based Learning and qualification specifications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach Electrical Installation across programs, up to 832 hours per year.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Managers and the Program Leader to improve quality and success rates.
• Contribute to safeguarding and promoting welfare of learners as part of college commitments.
