Job summary
Newbury College is seeking an Electrical Installation Course Leader and Lecturer to organise and deliver Level 2 Electrical Installation across daytime and evening programmes. You will use industry knowledge to deliver engaging learning, assess learner progress, and ensure curriculum standards meet awarding-body requirements.
You will lead the Electrical Installation provision, maintain high teaching standards, and keep the curriculum aligned with industry developments.
Qualifications
- Qualified in a relevant Electrical Installation subject area to at least Level 3.
- Experienced within the Electrical Installation industry with practical classroom knowledge.
- Passionate about teaching and able to inspire learners.
- Confident communicating with learners, colleagues, employers and other agencies.
- Organised and committed to high teaching and learner progress standards.
Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver Electrical Installation provision across daytime and evening programmes.
- Teach Level 2 Electrical Installation and deliver practical and theory-based learning.
- Assess and monitor learner progress and provide appropriate support.
- Lead and coordinate the Electrical Installation provision and keep the curriculum up to date.
- Ensure awarding-body requirements are met across the programmes.
