Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment seeks an experienced Electrician to transition into education as an Electrical Installation Instructor in Newbury. The role focuses on practical workshop training for apprentices, with pathways to formal teaching supported by the provider.

You will deliver hands-on sessions, progress to classroom theory, and benefit from a structured training programme with full support for teaching qualifications. Hybrid working options enhance work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with strong electrical installation experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Ideally holds or is willing to gain the 2391 qualification.
• Interest in mentoring and developing learners.
• Teaching experience not required but welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on practical sessions and assist with classroom-based learning.
• Support apprentices across stages of their Electrical Installation training.
• Full training programme and continuing professional development provided.
• 37-hour week with around 25 hours teaching.
• Monday to Friday with hybrid working options.
