Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Installation Assessor on a temporary contract to support apprentices and learners in an FE setting in Yorkshire and the Humber. You will assess competence across workshop and employer environments, review progress and ensure timely achievement.

You will work with employers, teaching staff and quality assurers, maintaining accurate records and guiding learners toward EPA readiness.

Qualifications

• Delivering workplace and workshop-based assessments against NVQ Level 3 and Electrotechnical standards.
• Conducting progress reviews and employer site visits to track learner development and milestone completion.
• Gathering, verifying and marking portfolio evidence in line with awarding body requirements.
• Carrying out practical assessment observations, End Point Assessment preparation and feedback sessions.
• Supporting learners with BS 7671 wiring regulations, health and safety standards and practical testing procedures.
• Maintaining accurate records and tracking systems covering attendance, retention and achievement.
• Working with teaching staff, internal quality assurers and employer supervisors to address performance gaps.
