Key Responsibility Areas

1. Manage inspection activities and verify that work carried out by technicians meets specifications and drawings.
2. Inspect work to ensure it meets the highest standards.
3. Provide feedback to manufacturing technicians to maintain high industrial standards.
4. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols during final assembly.

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required

What we are looking for:

• Experience as an electronics/electromechanical inspector, familiar with IPC-610 standards.
• Ability to recognize defects on PCBs and mechanical assemblies.
• Understanding of soldering to IPC standards.
• Experience working within a cleanroom environment under high-power microscopes.
• Knowledge of FOD, ESD, and maintaining a 'clean as you go' approach.
• Attention to detail and ability to inspect work, flag quality defects, and give constructive feedback.
• Ability to interpret written instructions and drawings while adhering to production times.
• Experience raising quality notifications.
• Ability to coordinate and control production equipment according to company processes.
• Experience handling both repeat production and varied one-off tasks.

Preferred qualifications:

• Current IPC certifications in J-Std-001, IPC 610.
• Experience with microwave circuitry.
• Previous experience with military and aerospace products.
• Knowledge of hybrid microelectronic assembly techniques, including device attachment and interconnection methods.
