Electrical Inspector
Dartford – Priory Hill
Full Time, Permanent
Salary £43,911 per annum, plus, company van and fuel card
42.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
As an electrical inspector, your responsibilities involve both office and site-based tasks, focusing on ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical installation works on Capital Works projects.
This includes inspecting and verifying the accuracy and quality of electrical installations, creating detailed reports, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and coordinating the production of reports such as Lifecycle Condition Surveys. You will review subcontractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring electrical works comply with the electrical design, client specifications, BS7671 wiring regulations, and internal policies. Adherence to electrical compliance standards and regulatory requirements, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Electricity at Work Regulations, is essential. Additionally, you will assist in broader service delivery across contracts to maintain high standards in electrical installations.
All roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work in the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be over 21, have held your licence for more than 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
