Job summary

Accelerated People Management is recruiting an Electrical Improver to join a rapidly growing Renewable Energy company in Canterbury. The role focuses on installation, wiring and commissioning of domestic Solar PV systems with strong training and progression opportunities.

You will work alongside experienced engineers, develop technical skills, and contribute to a high standard of safety and quality across projects in Kent.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and 18th edition required.
• Solar PV knowledge is desirable (Bpec reference).
• Previous electrical installation experience, with Solar PV experience (desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to cover projects across Kent.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the installation and commissioning of domestic Solar PV systems.
• Assisting with electrical installations, wiring, containment and associated equipment.
• Working alongside experienced Solar PV and electrical engineers while developing your technical skills.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Our client is an established and rapidly growing renewable energy company specialising in domestic and commercial Solar PV installations. Having grown to approximately £2.5 million turnover within the last two years, the business is now targeting £5 million next year and shows no signs of slowing down. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are now looking for an Electrical Improver to join their expanding team. The company places a strong emphasis on developing its engineers, offering extensive training and a clear pathway to progress into Supervisor and Team Leader positions as they continue to build their own installation teams.
