Job summary

Apex Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking Electrical Improvers to support installation teams delivering EV charging infrastructure, solar PV installations and commercial electrical projects nationwide. The role offers a permanent contract, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, and opportunities to progress toward becoming a fully qualified electrician.

Based in Hull, travel will be required for various sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification underway or completed.
• ECS Card preferred.
• Practical site experience advantageous.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to travel.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Overview

Due to growth we are currently for an Electrical Improver on behalf of one of the UK's fastest-growing renewable energy and electrical infrastructure companies.

Established over 10 years, they specialise in Solar PV, solar battery storage, and EV charging systems, managing every stage from initial design and planning through to installation and maintenance.

They do a lot of work for automotive dealerships including BMW, Volvo and Peugeot. They also do work on retail parks, farms, manufacturers, charging forecourts, hotels and within the educational sector.

We are seeking driven Electrical Improvers to support the installation teams delivering EV charging infrastructure, solar PV installations and commercial electrical projects nationwide. Ideal for someone looking to develop their electrical career whilst working alongside experienced electricians on major renewable energy and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, paying £33,280 per annum. Perks include overtime, pension, career progression, industry-leading training and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You will also receive a day off on your birthday. The company are based in Hull but the majority of the work is working away. They offer structured career development and the opportunity to progress to a fully qualified electrician.
