Cornerstone is delivering a large-scale electrical remediation programme across its estate. The role focuses on reviewing designs before works, validating completed installations, and ensuring compliance with British Standards and Cornerstone specifications.
You will collaborate with Electrical, Operations and project delivery teams, manage approvals, and support safe, efficient programme delivery while driving quality improvements across sites.
Vision: To be the UK's leading digital infrastructure partner, enabling a fully connected future
Mission: Deliver reliable, high quality site access, infrastructure and services that support our customers' evolving connectivity needs.
For almost two decades, Cornerstone's infrastructure has quietly supported the UK's mobile networks. Whilst we continue to strengthen that foundation and extend its reach, we're in an exciting period of acceleration and transformation that will see us enable more connectivity and compute to more communities and industries across the UK.
This role has been created to provide dedicated support to both the Electrical and Operations teams in the delivery of electrical remedial projects across the Cornerstone estate.
You'll play a key role in assuring the quality and compliance of electrical works, reviewing designs before work begins and validating completed installations to ensure they meet current British Standards, regulatory requirements, and Cornerstone specifications. Working closely with internal stakeholders and delivery partners, you'll help ensure remedial activities are planned, reviewed, tracked, and completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
This is part electrical engineer, part technical assurance specialist, part compliance expert:
Reviewing electrical designs and remedial solutions before works commence
Assessing completed works through certification and evidence reviews
Validating compliance with industry standards and Cornerstone specifications
Managing quality assurance and approval processes through internal systems
Supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale electrical remediation programme
Why This Role Matters
Cornerstone is delivering a significant electrical remediation programme focused on high-risk and high-priority sites across its estate.
Over the next 12 months this programme will help bring installations into compliance with current British Standards and Cornerstone requirements, improving the overall safety, reliability, and integrity of our infrastructure.
The work you do will play a critical role in ensuring electrical works are designed correctly, delivered to the required standard, and fully compliant before being accepted into service.
You’ll be an experienced electrical professional with a strong background in electrical design, installation, inspection, testing, and certification. You will have a detailed understanding of electrical compliance requirements and be confident assessing both designs and completed installations to ensure works meet required standards and specifications.
