Job summary
Pioneer-Selection-Ltd in Hyde is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias. The role covers fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment, including automated cells and presses.
You will also handle electrical installation work and assist new plant installations, contributing to reliability and uptime across the site.
Qualifications
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent, holding at least an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or a Multiskilled Engineering discipline.
- Desirable experience with injection moulding machines, hydraulic presses, and automated assembly equipment.
- Experience maintaining conveyors and associated manufacturing machinery.
- Experience in panel wiring and electrical installations.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Experience working within a UK manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs, and planned preventive maintenance across manufacturing machinery.
- Maintain automated assembly cells, injection moulding machines and hydraulic presses.
- Perform electrical installation work including armoured cables, lighting, and power installations.
- Support new plant and equipment installations across site.
- Maintain machinery reliability and minimise downtime.
