Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our client’s Hyde site in Greater Manchester.

The role involves fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of manufacturing equipment, including automated cells and hydraulic presses. This hands-on position requires installation work and upgrades across the site, reporting to the Facilities Manager, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or Multiskilled Engineering discipline.
• Experience in UK manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Ability to carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs and planned preventive maintenance across manufacturing machinery.
• Electrical installation work including armoured cable installations, lighting and power installations.
• Support new plant and equipment installations and site upgrades.
