Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd. is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) in Hyde, Greater Manchester.

The role covers electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs and planned maintenance on automation cells, injection moulding, and hydraulic presses, with electrical install work and site support for new equipment. The position offers a 36-hour week on double days, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £45,000–£47,000 per year paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance or a Multiskilled Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs and planned preventative maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery.
• Perform electrical installation work including armoured cable installations, lighting and power installations.
• Support new plant and equipment installations across the site.
• Maintain machinery reliability and minimise downtime to ensure smooth production.
