Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer to perform Fixed Wire Testing (EICR) and associated remedial works across retail, commercial and office environments. NICEIC certification will be completed as required.

The role requires BS7671:18th Edition compliance, the ability to work independently, and meticulous documentation of records and certificates. Salary up to £39,000 plus allowances with overtime after 17:30.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical installation or maintenance in commercial, retail or office environments.
• Experience with Fixed Wire Testing, EICR reporting, and remedial works.
• Proficient in BS7671:2018 with safe working practices and risk assessment procedures.
• Ability to complete NICEIC certification and maintain documentation.
• Strong communication and customer liaison skills.
• Competent in completing electrical certification and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical inspection and testing including Fixed Wire Testing and remedial works.
• Ensure all work complies with BS7671:18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Deliver work to a high standard and provide professional service to clients.
• Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and certification within required timescales.
