Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd is helping a world-class manufacturer of overhead cranes, hoists and crane components recruit a time-served Panel Wirer / Machine Electrician for their Chapel-en-le-Frith site. You will connect electrical control panels to hoists, work from electrical drawings and check inverters and AC/DC controls to ensure quality.

The role offers a 36-hour, four-day week with training on days, then Early or Late shifts.

Qualifications

• Time-served panel wirer or machine electrician with wiring and assembly experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with control panels, inverters and AC/DC systems is advantageous.

We are recruiting time-served Panel Wirers / Machine Electricians to join one of the world's largest independent manufacturers of overhead cranes, hoists and crane components.

The Role

• Connect electrical control panels to hoists
• Work from electrical drawings and schematics
• Check inverters and AC/DC controls
• Work with electrical systems ranging from (Apply online only) volts
• Electrical wiring, termination and machine fitting
• Carry out work accurately and to required quality standards

About You

• Time-served Panel Wirer, Machine Electrician or Electrical Fitter
• Strong electrical wiring and assembly experience
• Able to read and work from electrical drawings/schematics
• Experience with control panels, inverters and AC/DC systems advantageous
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Hours & Pay

• Initial Training - Days
• Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:30
• £18.09 per hour
• Following training, you will move onto the agreed shift:
• Early Shift - Monday-Thursday
• 05:00-14:30
• £19.49 per hour
• Late Shift - Monday-Thursday
• 14:30-Midnight
• £22.56 per hour
