Supersede Recruitment Partners is seeking a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias to join a leading automation provider delivering warehousing and intralogistics solutions across the UK. You'll install, commission, service and repair automated warehouse systems, travel nationwide, and work with customers to keep equipment safe, reliable and performing at peak efficiency.

A strong electrical background and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualifications as listed: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent.
• Experience as Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Service Technician.
• Strong fault-finding on electrical and electromechanical equipment.
• Read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on automated warehouse and material handling systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Install, commission and test automated equipment.
• Respond to customer breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Travel throughout the UK, with overnight stays as required.
