Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd in Wirral seeks a Field Service Engineer to join a role blending workshop and field maintenance of OEM plant machinery. You will travel within the UK and overseas, performing installations and commissioning while supporting equipment returned from customer sites.

The candidate should have an electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled background, field service experience, willingness to travel, and PLC understanding.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mixture of workshop, installs, commissioning and field maintenance of OEM plant machinery.
• Live within commutable distance of Wirral site; work from Wirral workshop on projects and equipment returned from customer sites.
• Perform field service and installs; occasional stays away with fuel and transport provided.

The Role:

The role will be a mixture of workshop, installs, commissioning and field maintenance of OEM plant machinery.

Engineers must live in commutable distance of the site in Wirral, Engineers will work at the workshop in Wirral on projects and or overhaling equipment that has come back from customer sites.

Engineers will be required to perform field service and installs on and off over the year, all stay away, fuel and transport is provided.

Skills Qualifications required:

• Electrical, mechanical or multi skilled backgrounds
• Field Service / Customer Engineering experienced (Static site will also be considered)
• Happy to be flexible and travel UK and worldwide when required
• High Speed FMCG machinery experience
• Recognised Engineering Qualification
• PLC Understanding – Ideally modification experience
• Clean license
