Job summary

Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Service Engineer to cover Yeovil and surrounding areas. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems at customer sites and company premises.

You will diagnose faults, perform testing and ensure health & safety and BS 7671 compliance, while delivering high levels of customer service and keeping accurate service records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Experience with electrical maintenance, fault-finding and installation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and control circuits.
• Ability to use electrical testing instruments and diagnostic equipment.
• Full UK driving licence for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service electrical systems and equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs.
• Read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Provide technical advice to customers and engineering teams.
