Job summary

Auxo Talent in the United Kingdom seeks an Electrical Field Service Engineer to travel internationally to install, commission, service and upgrade rotating equipment, and to work from their Luton assembly site on a double day shift with early Friday finishes. Candidates with pumps/rotating equipment experience and installation/commissioning skills are encouraged to apply; high voltage exposure is a plus but not essential. A company bonus, travel allowances and a company vehicle are included.

Qualifications

• Previous field service or site-based experiences including installation and commissioning would be beneficial.
• Preferable if you have worked with voltages up to 13.8kV and power up to 3.2MW, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main on-site point of contact and oversee customer personnel, contractors, and supplied labour.
• Travel internationally for field service activities including installation, commissioning, servicing and upgrading rotating equipment (pumps, motors, generators).
• On return to the assembly site in Luton, work on double day shift with early finish Fridays to support assembly, overhaul, repair, inspection and testing of pumps and rotating equipment.

A leading manufacturer of rotating equipment is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to join their in-house engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to is looking for a mix of international travel to install, commission, service and upgrade rotating equipment (pumps, motors, generators).

You will act as the main point of contact on site and be responsible for supervising customer personnel, contractors, and supplied labour where required.

Travel will be international and typically lasting 2-6 weeks per assignment, anticipated to be a total of 120 days per year.

When not engaged on field service activities or customer site work, you will be working at their assembly site in Luton on a double day shift pattern with early finish on Fridays to support the assembly, overhaul, repair, inspection and testing of pumps and rotating equipment:

Applications are invited from Field Service Engineers, Field Service Technicians, as well as Electrical Engineers looking to travel for some of the year.

Candidates should have previous experience working with pumps, rotating equipment, or similar industrial machinery.

Previous field service or site-based experiences including installation and commissioning would be beneficial, as would working within Power, Manufacturing, Nuclear, or Oil and Gas sectors.

It would be preferable if you have worked with high voltages up to 13.8kV and 3.2MW, but not essential.
