Job summary

NRL Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and drive accurate cost estimates for a varied portfolio of M&E projects across industrial, educational and public sector sectors.

You will work with clients, suppliers and internal teams to secure opportunities and ensure profitability from the outset, including detailed take-offs, quotations and value engineering options.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for M&E building services projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience in commercial, industrial or public-sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed electrical cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review tender documents to establish scope and pricing strategy.
• Undertake detailed take-offs and measurements from drawings.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend site surveys and client visits where required.
• Evaluate risks and value engineering options during tender stage.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and project teams throughout bid process.
• Ensure estimates remain commercially competitive and profitable.
• Assist with budgets, cost plans and variation quotations.
• Support handover to delivery team after successful tenders.
• Maintain estimating records and provide reporting as required.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and supply chain performance.
