Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an experienced Electrical Estimator for a growing M&E contractor in the Solent area. The role focuses on preparing tenders, take-offs, and costings for large-scale building services projects.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, experience with tender submissions, and proficient use of Excel and estimating software. Hybrid working arrangements apply with ongoing training and development offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical/M&E Estimator.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Experience with take-offs and tender submissions.
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of current market rates.
• Confident using Excel and estimating software.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing M&E contractor based in the Solent area.

The successful candidate will have previous electrical estimating experience within the M&E/building services industry, ideally working on large-scale or multi-million-pound projects.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing accurate tenders for electrical building services projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Completing detailed take-offs and labour/material costings
• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options
• Working closely with Pre-Construction, Design and Commercial teams

Personal Requirements:
