Job summary

Involve Recruitment Ltd. in Wolverhampton is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a busy pre-construction team. You will prepare detailed electrical estimates for diverse, new-build projects and interpret drawings and tender docs to drive competitive bids.

You will liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams, assess risks, manage multiple tenders, and contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in estimation software

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate Electrical estimates for a range of new build projects
• Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather relevant information
• Assess project risks and opportunities to ensure competitive and viable bids
• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Contribute to value engineering and cost saving initiatives
• Support the commercial and project teams through the pre-construction phase
