Job summary

RJ Electrical & Security is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Doncaster team. You will prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for industrial, NHS, schools, social housing, private housing, and solar PV projects.

The role requires at least 2 years in electrical contracting and familiarity with estimating software (Amtech), as well as PDF Viewer, Word and Excel. You will work mainly in the office and contribute to bid submissions, cost databases, and project

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in an electrical contracting background.
• Familiarity with estimating software, Amtech estimating, PDF Viewer, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Determining amount, type and cost of materials and fixtures for each project.
• Determining labour requirements for each project.
• Assessing profitability to guide bid decisions.
• Completing and submitting competitive project bids per guidelines.
• Regularly updating cost databases to reflect fluctuating costs.
