Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator in Leeds to price a diverse portfolio of building services projects. You will prepare detailed electrical tenders, cost plans and pricing schedules from drawings and client specs, while reviewing documentation for risks and opportunities.

You will work closely with design, commercial and operational teams, support value engineering, attend site visits, and manage multiple bids with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing detailed electrical tenders and cost plans from drawings and specs.
• Ability to review tender documentation and identify risks and opportunities.
• Experience obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Proven track record producing take-offs and detailed pricing schedules.
• Ability to work with design, commercial and operational teams during bids.
• Support value engineering and alternate design solutions.
• Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required.
• Manage multiple tender submissions and deadlines concurrently.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotations and tender correspondence.
• Assist with handovers to project delivery teams after awards.
