Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Estimator

Location: Runcorn - Hybrid

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Package

We are looking for a growing organisation and you will be part of the commercial team, pricing new small and medium project works and working closely with the contracts managers to allocate resources to each project.

This role is hybrid, involving in-office work, working from home, and site visits when required. The focus is on preparing prices and tenders to send out to clients, with occasional meetings with clients around the North West.

Responsibilities:

1. Multiple quoting and tendering
2. Performing market research on costings and prices to remain competitive
3. Collaborating with contracts managers to develop strategies for work resource allocation and adding value to projects
4. Working with other departments on delivery of installation projects, services, and maintenance KPIs related to pricing
5. Maintaining and updating the CRM system with client information
6. Nurturing client accounts to ensure long-term relationships

Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

• Proven experience in estimating within a Technical Building Services background
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of costing
• Proficiency in estimating software and other systems
• Experience in client management (desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This role is suitable for candidates from Building Services, Construction, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, Hire industries, or similar sectors.
