That’s what this role is all about. We’re working with a successful North-West based M&E contractor to help them find a skilled Electrical Estimator. Someone who knows how to price a job properly, communicate clearly with clients and suppliers, and support the commercial team with calm, focused energy.
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 + benefits
Location: Liverpool
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Our client is a well-established M&E contractor operating across commercial, retail, healthcare, and education sectors. They’ve been around long enough to have a strong reputation, but they’re still growing and evolving. The team is collaborative, the culture is supportive, and the projects are varied. This isn’t a corporate machine where you’ll feel like just another cog.
It’s a business that values your ideas, your accuracy, and your experience.
You’ll join the pre-construction and commercial team, taking ownership of electrical tenders from receipt through to submission. That means working with drawings and specifications, liaising with suppliers for quotes, building BOQs, and ensuring tenders are returned on time and on point. Your responsibilities will include:
You’ll be pricing projects across a range of sectors, mostly within the North-West. You won’t be thrown in the deep end without support, but you will be trusted to own your work.
Experience matters, but so does approach. You’ll need a good understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Just as importantly, you’ll need to be organised, methodical, and confident dealing with others. Here’s what will help you succeed in this role:
If you’ve ever been the person in the room who spots the thing others miss, you’ll fit right in.
You won’t be micro-managed. You will be part of a close-knit team that genuinely supports one another. There’s real career progression here too. Whether you want to specialise further or move towards senior commercial leadership, this company has the scale and the attitude to help you grow. The salary is competitive and reflective of your experience, and the benefits package adds genuine value. But beyond the numbers, this is a role where your input is respected and your voice is heard.
