Job summary

Jark PLC is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our Kings Lynn team on a permanent basis. You will deliver accurate electrical cost estimates for a diverse portfolio of high-spec commercial and industrial projects and support bid submissions.

The role requires experience with electrical systems, M&E drawings, and proficiency in estimating software with strong attention to detail. A formal background in commercial construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in environments such as food production sites, offices, healthcare, education, and data centres.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to estimating.
• Able to interpret M&E drawings and specifications with confidence.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Amtech, Estimation, or similar) and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical packages on commercial projects.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Source supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Support the bid process from initial enquiry to submission and handover.
• Attend tender meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and the project team.

The Role:
