Job summary

Vincent Gurney Ltd in London is seeking an Electrical Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for Electrical Building Services projects and price MEP tenders up to £15 million. You will review drawings and tender docs, obtain quotes, identify value engineering opportunities, and work with clients and the pre-construction team to submit competitive tenders and support handovers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services industry.
• Experience pricing commercial Electrical projects.
• Trimble Estimation software experience is highly desirable.

Salary: £80,000 per annum

The Role:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for Electrical Building Services projects.

Pricing MEP tenders with values up to £15 million.

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within the Building Services industry.

*

Experience working for an Electrical or M&E Contractor.

*

Experience pricing commercial Electrical projects.

*

Trimble Estimation software experience is highly desirable.

*

Strong understanding of electrical building services.

*

Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

*

Strong communication and organisational skills.

*

Able to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines.
