Job summary

Bimplus in London is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to lead substantial electrical tenders for high-end commercial fit-outs and refurbishments across London. You will own pre-construction tendering, develop bid strategies and collaborate with clients, consultants and the project team.

Based in East London with some flexibility, the role offers autonomy to shape estimates, drive value engineering and contribute to a strong pipeline of London-based projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Electrical Estimator in building services.
• Experience pricing electrical packages typically ranging from £1m to £5m+.
• Experience in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Involvement in tender strategy and value engineering.

An established M&E Building Services contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction team in East London.

The company delivers high-end commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across London, working with a range of major clients on schemes typically valued between £2m and £10m.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator to take ownership of substantial tenders, contribute to pre-construction strategy and join a contractor with a strong pipeline of London-based projects.

The business is an established M&E Building Services contractor specialising in the delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects throughout London.

Its project portfolio includes high-quality office, commercial and mixed-use environments, with repeat business forming an important part of its ongoing workload.

The company operates with an experienced management team and provides its estimating and operational teams with the autonomy and support required to deliver projects successfully.

The Role

As Senior Electrical Estimator, you will join an experienced pre-construction team and take responsibility for substantial electrical tenders across a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects throughout London.

The position will suit an experienced estimator capable of independently managing complex tenders, contributing to bid strategy and value engineering, and working confidently with clients, consultants and the wider project team.

The role is primarily office-based in East London, although the company offers a sensible degree of flexibility where appropriate.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Senior Electrical Estimator, or similar role, within the Building Services sector
• Strong commercial fit-out and refurbishment experience
• Experience pricing electrical packages typically ranging from £1m to £5m+
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Experience contributing to tender strategy and value engineering
