Job summary

Giant Recruitment Group Ltd seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator in London to prepare accurate estimates and tenders for commercial office fit-outs. You will review drawings, specifications and tender docs, obtain quotes, and liaise with clients, suppliers and the internal team to support the project from enquiry to award.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, strong communication and organisational skills, and a solid background in M&E projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Estimator.
• Experience in commercial office fit-out or similar M&E projects.
• Understanding of electrical installations, materials and labour.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Electrical Estimator

Electrical Estimator needed in London, close to the City of London, Hackney, Westminster, Shoreditch, Canary Wharf, Islington, Stratford and Tower Hamlet.

We are working with a well-established, family-run M&E contractor specialising in high-quality commercial office fit-out projects across London. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join the team.

This is a great opportunity for an Estimator looking to join a close-knit business where they can have genuine responsibility and play an important role in the continued growth of the company.

Duties:

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates and tenders for commercial office fit-out projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes and tender documentation.
• Obtain and review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and the internal project team.
• Support the commercial team from initial enquiry through to contract award.

Essential:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Strong background in commercial office fit-out or similar commercial M&E projects.
• Good understanding of electrical installations, materials and labour requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
