Job summary

GES Group in Ballymena, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to transition into estimating. You will help prepare accurate, competitive project bids, define scopes with customers, and contribute to the company’s growth.

The role is full-time (38 hours per week) with potential overtime and a holiday entitlement of 29 days per year. Training and mentorship are provided to support your development as you move into this commercial engineering track.

• Has 2+ years’ experience in a similar role or relevant electrical engineering background.
• Confident communicating with customers to define project scopes, address technical issues, negotiate pricing and budgets, and prepare estimate documentation.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Is detail-oriented, enjoys working with numbers, and is interested in project planning and commercial strategy.
