Octavius Infrastructure Limited is offering an Electrical Engineering Year in Industry Placement in RH2 9PY. Start date September 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems on real infrastructure projects.

The role includes mentoring, development of electrical methodologies, and a mix of site and office-based activities. Travel with project teams is expected; flexibility and a proactive approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree with a placement year included.
• Interest in infrastructure, construction or engineering.
• Proactive, collaborative and keen to apply knowledge in practice.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems on projects.
• Assist development and implementation of electrical methodologies.
• Gain practical experience through site and office activities.
• Collaborate with Site Managers, Project Managers and Engineers.
• Build relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
• Contribute ideas and energy to projects with a curious approach.
• Develop understanding of safety, quality and delivery of solutions.
