Job summary

DN Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer- Electrical Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching and learning, inspiring the next generation of industry professionals. The role focuses on engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to curriculum development.

This position welcomes experienced educators or industry professionals transitioning to teaching, with a pathway to a Level 5 teaching qualification within 18 months and ongoing CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or substantial industry experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work towards a recognised Level 5 teaching qualification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in Electrical Engineering.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and learner needs.
• Support, motivate and monitor student progress and achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessment outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in course reviews, team meetings and professional development activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the student experience.
