Job summary

Quest Global is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to collaborate with the customer at a major dockyard facility. You will lead the electrical discipline, scope and design modifications, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and delivery of projects.

You will guide a team of electrical engineers across lifecycle stages. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with CEng status preferred, and possess experience in regulated industries and asset lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum) and CEng status preferred.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, maritime, infrastructure, oil & gas).
• Proven track record in scoping, designing and modifying electrical systems (LV/HV).
• Strong knowledge of safety standards (IEEE, IEC).
• Good communication skills and ability to lead a team.
• Experience in dockyard, marine, Defence or MoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the customer and Technical Authority to understand requirements.
• Lead the Electrical Discipline and develop capability for the customer.
• Scope, design and propose modifications to assets or new facilities based on needs.
• Assess and approve technical documentation ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to align electrical designs with broader projects.
• Support installation, commissioning and testing phases.
• Provide input to project documentation and progress reporting.
