Job summary

Babcock International invites applications for its Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme. Starting September 2027, the two-year scheme offers placements across Warrington, Bristol, and Leicester, with a minimum starting salary of £35,000.

You’ll rotate every 3–6 months, gaining broad experience from design to decommissioning and supporting national projects. You'll be mentored and trained to progress toward Chartered status, with pathways to join Cavendish Nuclear and work on iconic UK

Qualifications

• A minimum of a BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance must be achievable.
• This programme is available to UK nationals only.

Responsibilities

• Participate in two-year rotations across placements every 3–6 months to explore projects and teams.
• Support engineering lifecycle activities from concept/design through production, commissioning, and in-service support to decommissioning.
• Develop strong foundations in electrical, control and instrumentation engineering with increasing responsibilities.
