Job summary

Worley in London is seeking a Department Manager Electrical Engineering to lead the electrical discipline across multiple delivery centres, ensuring safety, technical excellence and compliant delivery of projects from engineering through commissioning.

You’ll shape capability, manage resources and leverage partnerships with customers and suppliers, applying global standards and governance to deliver competitive proposals and robust execution in LV to EHV systems.

Qualifications

• Leadership and direction for the electrical discipline.
• Proven track record delivering complex electrical projects.
• Experience with LV/MV/HV/EHV up to 33kV and related standards.
• Strong commercial awareness and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personnel profiles and CVs; identify capability gaps.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Oversee pricing, estimating and competitive proposals.
• Develop engineering execution strategies and proposal content.
• Manage resource utilisation across multiple delivery centres.
• Support performance management and staff development.
• Provide change leadership and governance across projects.
• Ensure technical governance and compliance with standards.
• Standardise equipment specs and document templates.
• Collaborate with PM teams on scope, schedule and delivery.
• Review work within delegated authority for quality and safety.
