Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking an Electrical Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy in Scotland. Based in Inverness,Elgin or Aberdeen, you will inspect fixed wiring and electrical plant equipment, produce detailed reports, and ensure compliance with UK regulations.

The role offers a basic salary up to £48,236, a car allowance, and a full benefits package, with Monday–Friday days and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Experience in testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• Good communication of technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment.
• Prepare detailed reporting and ensure customers are compliant with relevant UK regulations.
• Work across Inverness, Elgin or Aberdeen area delivering field service inspections.

Job Role of the Electrical Engineer Surveyor.

A standout opportunity has become available for a Electrical Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to prolong the life and safety of electrical equipment by spotting any potential defects as early as possible and helping make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

You will be responsible for completing quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed reporting and ensuring customers are compliant with vital regulations that help govern their industry within the UK.

Sector - Inspection (Field Service)

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Engineer Surveyor

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering based qualification.
• Worked within hazardous environments (COMPEX)
• Significant level of practical experience working as a domestic or industrial electrician.

Requirements for the Electrical Engineer Surveyor

• Strong Electrical background with Testing and Inspection experience.
• Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• Ability to communicate complex and technical problems.
• Must live around the Inverness, Elgin or Aberdeen area.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Engineer Surveyor

• Ideally hold a NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
