Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking an Electrical Engineer Surveyor for roles in Inverness, Elgin or Aberdeen. Salary up to £48,236 plus Car Allowance and a full benefits package, with dayshift Monday to Friday and flexible hours.

The successful candidate will inspect and assess fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment, producing detailed reports to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operation across the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering based qualification.
• Worked within hazardous environments (COMPEX).
• Significant level of practical experience working as a domestic or industrial electrician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment.
• Carry out detailed reporting and ensure customers are compliant with vital UK regulations.
• Communicate complex technical problems clearly to clients.
• Must live around the Inverness, Elgin or Aberdeen area.

Job Role of the Electrical Engineer Surveyor.

A standout opportunity has become available for a Electrical Engineer Surveyor to join a leading inspection consultancy. Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to prolong the life and safety of electrical equipment by spotting any potential defects as early as possible and helping make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

You will be responsible for completing quality assessments and inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out detailed reporting and ensuring customers are compliant with vital regulations that help govern their industry within the UK.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Engineer Surveyor

• Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering based qualification.
• Worked within hazardous environments (COMPEX)

• Strong Electrical background with Testing and Inspection experience.
• Electrical Engineering qualifications.
• Ability to communicate complex and technical problems.
• Must live around the Inverness, Elgin or Aberdeen area.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Engineer Surveyor

• Ideally hold a NVQ Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
