Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting experienced Electrician Engineers for a long-term role in the London Area, delivering high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and compliance works within social housing properties.

The role involves electrical installation, inspection, testing and servicing in social housing, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance and first-time fixes. You will work in occupied and void properties, supporting projects and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical qualifications and registrations as listed above.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, installations, testing and inspections within social housing properties.
• Deliver works in line with current Building Regulations, NICEIC requirements and Health & Safety legislation.
• Complete electrical testing, fault finding, inspections, surveys and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Complete digital work orders, reports and certification accurately and within required timescales.
• Work safely in occupied and void properties.
• Support larger projects and work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades.
• Mentor junior technicians and support their development where required.
• Participate in an out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
• Maintain vehicle stock, tools, equipment and materials effectively.
